This is a fantastic piece of Kiwiana and was a household classic sometime around the 1970's (maybe earlier). Most households had one of these adorning their dining table, round the BBQ or in the picnic basket. Tomato sauce just wasn't the same out of anything other than the 'tomato' sauce bottle.
