This beautiful plush finger puppet is part of a collection designed & distributed by Antics of NZ, featuring Native Birds. Stands approx. 12cm. Age 3+

The Tui is a member of the honey eaters and has a brush tipped tongue to collect nectar from flax etc. They are noisy birds in flight and song with iconic melodies mixed with croaks, squeaks and other sounds. They have iridescent greens with a reddish-brown black, topped with a white fleck shawl. Two striking white tuffs sit on their throats and some call them the "Parson" bird.
